Day 8

Today's Activities:

• Story Time at the local library. I originally scheduled this for the boys since they have generally been neglected on the extracurricular front, but the girls had a great time listening to stories and singing.

1. ME - Another first chapter review. She decided her next Newbery book will be Homesick: My Own Story by Jean Fritz.
2. C & C - Read Anansi the Spider by Gerald McDermott.
   

• Read aloud from McBroom's Wonderful One-Acre Farm by Sid Fleischman

• Singapore Math - Madelyn passed her first test. It was on adding and subtracting centimeters and meters.
